You can put RevoplyAI on your phone's home screen in about a minute, and once it is there your phone buzzes when a customer needs a person. On Android that is two taps from the profile menu. On iPhone it is Share, then Add to Home Screen. There is no App Store or Play Store listing to hunt for, and nothing to download.
Why install it at all?
Because of notifications, and honestly for very little else. The dashboard already works in a mobile browser. You can read the inbox, reply, check statistics, all of it, without installing anything. What a browser tab cannot do is reach you when it is closed.
This is a platform limitation rather than a design choice on our part. Android freezes a page in a backgrounded tab within a few minutes of you switching away from it. Once frozen, it stops listening. A customer escalates, the conversation sits in your inbox, and the phone in your pocket stays silent because the thing that was watching went to sleep. Installing swaps that fragile arrangement for a real push subscription, which the operating system delivers whether the app is open, closed, or was last touched on Tuesday.
On an iPhone the rule is stricter still: iOS delivers web notifications only to apps added to the home screen. Not to Safari tabs, not to bookmarks. If you take away one thing from this page, take that.

How do I install it on Android?
Use Chrome. Sign in to your dashboard first. The install option does not appear on the login screen, which trips people up more often than anything else here.
- Open app.revoplyai.com in Chrome and sign in.
- Open the profile menu in the top corner and tap Install app.
- Confirm in the dialog Chrome shows you. That dialog belongs to the browser. No page can install itself without it, and it cannot be skipped.
- Open RevoplyAI from the new home screen icon and allow notifications when it asks.
That last step is the one that does the work. Installing puts an icon on the home screen; granting notification permission is what registers the device for push. Skip it and you have a very convenient shortcut that never makes a sound.
How do I install it on iPhone or iPad?
You have to be in Safari. Chrome and Firefox on iOS cannot install a home screen app, because Apple does not give them the capability. If you normally use one of those, open Safari for these four steps and go back afterwards.
- Open app.revoplyai.com in Safari and sign in.
- Tap the Share button, the square with the arrow coming out of it.
- Scroll the list and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Launch it from the new icon, not from Safari, and allow notifications when asked.
Safari has no equivalent of Chrome's one-tap install, which is why the button inside the dashboard explains the steps on an iPhone instead of doing it for you. It is not being coy; there is genuinely no programmatic install to offer.
What do you get beyond the notifications?
A few things fall out of installing that are pleasant rather than essential. It opens in its own window, without the browser's address bar eating the top of a screen that has none to spare. Long-pressing the icon gives you shortcuts straight into the inbox or your contacts. Is there a RevoplyAI app in the App Store or Google Play?
No, and searching for one will only waste your time. RevoplyAI installs directly from the browser. The upside is that there is nothing to update by hand. The installed app picks up new versions the same way the website does, and you are never several releases behind because an update sat unattended in a store queue.
I installed it but I am not getting notifications. What went wrong?
Nearly always one of three things. You did not grant notification permission when asked, in which case reopen the app and check the notification settings screen. Or, on an iPhone, you are opening the app from Safari rather than from the home screen icon. Those are two different things to iOS, and only one of them gets notifications. Or the category you are waiting on has been switched off, or moved into the daily digest, in the notification settings.
Can my whole team install it?
Yes, and each person should. Notification registration is per device, not per account, so somebody who installs it on a desktop and on their phone gets escalations on both. Installing on a shared device does not sign anyone else in; each install still asks for a login.
