Comparison
RevoplyAI vs Respond.io
As an inbox, Respond.io wins. As an answerer, we win. If the problem is delivering a high volume of conversations to the right agent on a real support team, that is what they were built for. If the problem is that a person should never have seen most of those conversations, that is what we were built for.

Where Respond.io is the better buy
- Assignment logic, team structures and routing rules that are genuinely deeper than ours.
- Supervisor views and the reporting layer a staffed desk needs to run shifts.
- A workforce-management shape we do not attempt: our inbox is a shared inbox, and anyone running a rota on it will hit its limits fast.
- Monthly Active Contact billing, which is the cheaper shape if you have many agents but few contacts.
Where we are the better buy
- Answers that settle the conversation from your knowledge base by default, rather than routing it to a person faster.
- Arabic retrieval that works on dialect, not an Arabic interface over an English-trained system.
- A flat monthly price with no Monthly Active Contact overage to model.
- Appointment booking and reading customer photos built into the assistant on Pro and Business.
What each one costs
- Starter is $79 a month, or $948 a year, and includes 5 users. Extra users are $12 a month.
- Growth is $159 a month, or $1,908 a year, and includes 10 users. Extra users are $20 a month.
- Advanced is $279 a month, or $3,348 a year, and includes 10 users. Extra users are $24 a month.
- Enterprise is custom priced with unlimited users.
- Billing runs on Monthly Active Contacts rather than seats or messages, with overage at $12 per 100 contacts on Growth and $15 per 100 on Advanced.
- Annual billing is advertised as saving up to 20 percent.
Basic is free. Starter is $9 a month, Pro $29 and Business $59, flat, with no active-contact overage.
This compares their entry paid plan with our top plan. It is the honest comparison for a small team, and it stops being the right one the moment you need eight agents on shifts, where their per-seat economics and routing depth win.
We did not capture the included Monthly Active Contact allowance per plan, so we do not state one. That allowance is what decides whether the overage line matters to you, so check it on their page before you commit.
Routing versus answering
Two products can both carry the label of WhatsApp platform while targeting opposite halves of the same problem. Routing means taking a conversation as it arrives, attaching the right history, and placing it in front of the correct human at the correct point in the queue. Answering means settling it with no human involved at all.
Respond.io is a routing product that contains automation. We are an answering product with an inbox hanging off it. Most of what separates us follows from that, including the places each side falls short.
Be honest about the inbox
Our inbox is a shared inbox. Every channel appears in one place, your team can pick up a conversation and take over from the assistant at the moment it hands off. That is the whole of it.
It is not workforce management. There are no shift rotas, no skill-based assignment trees, no supervisor dashboards. If that is what you are shopping for, they are the better product and we would rather you knew that now than after you bought.
See which half of the problem you actually have
If most of your conversations end up answered the same way, the answering half is where your money goes. Basic is free and needs no card.
