Overview
This connection keeps your existing WhatsApp Business number and app. The assistant answers your customers, and you can still reply yourself from your phone.
This guide covers the RevoplyAI side of the connection. After Connect WhatsApp Account, Meta's own screens take over; they were not run while writing this guide, so follow the instructions they show.

Before you start
- The WhatsApp Business app on a phone, with the number you want to connect.
- That phone with you while you connect.
Start the connection
Step 1: Open the WhatsApp Business App Link card
In Messaging Channels, find WhatsApp Business App Link 1. It is marked Recommended. Select Settings 2. Watch it 3 plays a short video of the flow.

Step 2: Check the page and start
The page is titled The number I use in the WhatsApp Business app 1. It reminds you to keep chatting on your phone and to have that phone with you. Select Connect WhatsApp Account 2 and follow Meta's screens.

After you connect
Step 3: Decide what happens when you reply from your phone
Open AI Assistant › Handover and set Pause AI when you reply from WhatsApp. When you answer a customer yourself from the WhatsApp Business app, the assistant stops replying on that conversation for the time you choose.
Step 4: Send yourself a test message
Message the number from another phone and watch the conversation arrive in the Inbox.
Expected result
The WhatsApp Business App Link card no longer shows Not connected, and customer messages to that number appear in the Inbox.
Troubleshooting
I am not sure which WhatsApp option I need.
